First Pre-MBA Course Goes Live for GLOBIS Thailand

Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo–GLOBIS Thailand launched its Pre-MBA Program on Saturday, delivering the first session from Essentials of Marketing and Strategy to 12 participants, all of whom joined online. Discussion was lively throughout the three-hour session, and was led by veteran GLOBIS lecturer Sven van Stichel.

The course was also joined by Thai influencer Patarapon Laueboonchu. Known for his popular blog, JapanSalaryman, Laueboonchu signed up for the Pre-MBA Program after enjoying several trial sessions in 2020. He commented:

“I used to feel like I had no business strategy, but after our class discussions I discovered many tools that I could use. I found the case studies really helpful in pointing out practical solutions I could apply to my business,” he said.
“I look forward to learning more about how to analyze and emulate business studies,” he added.

Welcoming learners into a modern online teaching environment from the safety of their homes is a top GLOBIS priority. As the COVID-19 situation improves, courses will likely take on a hybrid in-person/online format.
