GLOBIS launches GLOBIS Unlimited, innovative and practical online video courses

(Tokyo, Japan) July 5 saw the launch of GLOBIS Unlimited, an initiative for quality online video courses that combine innovative technology with the business knowledge of Japan’s No. 1 MBA. These courses embody the expertise and practicality of GLOBIS University, featuring top faculty and business professionals. GLOBIS is partnering with the Udemy platform for delivery of the courses.

GLOBIS Unlimited builds upon the success of GLOBIS Manabihodai (“all-you-can-learn”), a monthly subscription-based video learning service provided in Japanese with over 36,000 registered users as of May 2018.

Project leader Alex Scharf states, “Technology is disrupting and democratizing traditional education globally. GLOBIS Unlimited will not only allow learners to gain new and exciting knowledge to enrich their lives, but will serve as the foundation for the further integration of technology into our teaching and curriculum.”

The first course on offer is entitled Leadership with Passion through Kokorozashi. It aims to guide learners to discover their kokorozashi, or personal mission, and transform them into leaders with purpose. The course is taught by Tomoya Nakamura, Dean of the Graduate School of Management at GLOBIS University.

GLOBIS Unlimited features unique video cases–animated examples of real business situations. Through these cases, learners are able to put themselves in the shoes of decision makers, building firsthand leadership experience.
