GLOBIS announces Strategic Risk Management Executive Course with Eurasia Group

CATEGORIES:CORPORATE TRAINING

(Tokyo, Japan) GLOBIS University is partnering with Eurasia Group to offer a 2-day Executive Education Course on Strategic Risk Management this October. Faculty include Eurasia Group President and world-renowned security risk expert Ian Bremmer and Boston Consulting Group Senior Partner and Managing Director Takashi Mitachi.

Changes in the global political environment, as evidenced by Brexit and the 2016 US presidential election, can have sudden and massive impacts on economics and the global financial environment. Those changes, in turn, drive cycles of conflict and instability. Today, more than ever, success in the global marketplace demands an acute and educated understanding of the drivers and measures of political risk and its impacts.

“Global investors are increasingly aware that political factors play an important role in business success, but there are few options for executives to learn the tools for assessing and managing threats and opportunities,” said Mr. Bremmer. “This course will offer participants an invaluable lens through which to talk about risk and reward in some of the world’s most challenging markets.”

This course was previous offered at New York University (NYU) in 2016 and received high reviews from its students. Through courses such as Global Perspectives, GLOBIS University seeks to nurture global leaders, and this course, which brings together the expertise of both organizations, is aimed towards business executives in Japan.
