Ms. Murao is in charge of developing overall business and marketing strategies for the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University, and GLOBIS Management School. She is also engaged in management of the Osaka and Nagoya campuses. As a lecturer, she teaches courses including Essentials of Marketing and Strategy, Leadership Development, Ethics & Values and Keiei Dojo. She is also involved in nurturing nonprofit organizations and serves on the board of several of these organizations. She co-authored Tools and Strategies to Develop Your Career the GLOBIS Way (Toyo Keizai Inc.), 10 fundamental Business Skills the GLOBIS Way (Toyo Keizai Inc.), Cultivate your Kokorozashi (Toyo Keizai Inc.), and 10 New Leaders from the Tohoku Region: Aspirations for Reconstruction (Kahoku Shinpo Publishing Center).

Prior to joining GLOBIS, Ms. Murao worked at a major travel agency, and subsequently joined a comprehensive human resources services company, where she gained first-hand experience of project management and the overall process of operational integration in corporate mergers.

Ms. Murao graduated from the School of Sociology at Kwansei Gakuin University, and received a Master's degree in Urban Policy from the Graduate School for Creative Cities, Osaka City University. She is also a graduate of the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (GDBA) course, the predecessor to GLOBIS' MBA program.
