When Ms. Tomoko Kimijima first joined GLOBIS she was in charge of graduate school establishment and program development for the current Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University. She then supervised graduate school program development and served as director of corporate training before assuming her current position as faculty director, where she oversees research and development activities and faculty development in the faculty department. As an instructor, she teaches thinking and human resource management. As the leader of the human resources management and organizational behavior research group, she is involved in research related mainly to female labor and human resource management at Japanese companies. She is a member of the Career Design Institute-Japan.
Prior to joining GLOBIS, Ms. Kimijima worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company Inc., where she provided consulting services related to business analysis and strategic planning, marketing strategy development, cost reduction, and business management system creation to public institutions and companies in a wide range of fields including food products, communications, pharmaceuticals, and finance.
A graduate of the College of Liberal Arts at International Christian University, Ms. Kimijima received an MA from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo and an MBA in Career Studies from the Graduate School of Business Administration at Hosei University.
